Our Day Package includes a tour of the Seminole Ah-Tah-Thi-Ki Museum (Check in at Ah-Tah-Thi-Ki Museum no later than 10am) where you will learn the fascinating history and culture of the unconquered Seminole Indians.

Following the museum tour you will visit Billie Swamp Safari in the heart of the Everglades. Check in by 12:00 noon at the Gift Shop and travel deep into the Big Cypress/Everglades on a swamp buggy eco-tour. Your informative guide will point out rare tropical foliage and Florida wildlife. Then ride an airboat and see alligators in the wild and other exotic animals from around the world that share this wildlife preserve.

Your day adventure will continue with a Snake and Alligator Show or a Swamp Critter Show where you can see these native and exotic reptiles and animals up close.

For your dining experience, enjoy lunch at the Swamp Water Cafe (not part of package) featuring Everglades and Seminole specialties such as catfish, gator nuggets and Indian fry bread as well as traditional American fare. Following your meal, relax in a comfortable rocking chair overlooking the Everglades.

The Seminole Tribe of Florida opens 2200 lush acres of their Big Cypress Reservation to the public at Billie Swamp Safari. Experience first hand the majesty of nature. Billie Swamp Safari offers daily tours into reservation wetlands where wildlife abounds.

Tours are provided aboard swamp buggies, customized motor vehicles designed to provide visitors with an elevated view of the frontier while comfortably riding through the wetlands and cypress heads. Visitors may choose to take an exhilarating airboat ride or walk through our cypress dome boardwalk nature trail.

This adventurous paradise is laden with out-of-this-world activities. From bird watching, reptile and critter shows and alligator wrestling to studying snakes in the herpetarium, you will experience native Florida like never before.
